Hi! I’m Lauren Georgia Hope, a passionate illustrator based in Birmingham/Dudley. I studied Illustration – BA (Hons) at Birmingham City University and graduated in 2023. I also won a “One To Watch” Colour in Design Award at New Designers 2023, you can read more about that here.

I mainly focus on surface pattern design but I’m interested in exploring products and packaging, editorial and advertising. I also have a love of all things print, especially riso, lino and letterpress, and bring this element into my work in varying ways. I’m enjoying continuing to develop my practice further and believe that I will always have more to learn and room to grow.

I’m currently working in Health, Safety & Environment in the Property Management sector but I am also the co-founder of The Crafty Coven Shops. We’re a small business that supports local artists and crafters where I also run classes and workshops based around lino and block printing. I spend my weekends and Thursday evenings in the shop as well as taking care of a lot of the background admin such as newsletter creation.
