Can You See Me Now?

The name of this project was inspired by endless team calls and the theme was based on the experience of our covid year. We had to create a poster, zine page and a gif and then draw an eye that would be used on a collaborative t-shirt to raise money for Birmingham Mind and Mental Health UK. I moved into an apartment with a study in the middle of COVID-19, August 2020 just before starting my first year of uni so the majority of my first year was spent inside the apartment. For my zine I did a love letter to One Hagley Road as I felt really lucky to call it home and be safe there whilst still having enough space to create in lockdown. My poster and GIF were created from rubbings that I did around the building and then collaged together digitally. Fun fact: the background texture is actually a photo of my kitchen wall!
